Chemistry Researcher & Educator

Dr. Momal Akram

I study visible-light photocatalysis and green adsorbents for advanced water treatment — designing doped-oxide catalysts and biosorption processes that remove dyes, pharmaceuticals, and heavy metals from wastewater.

Chemistry academic and researcher with over a decade in higher education and analytical science — most recently at the University of Central Punjab (2022–2026), rising from Lecturer to Assistant Professor and Academic Coordinator, with a PhD on eco-friendly remediation of textile dye wastewater using green adsorbents.
